This Privacy Policy explains how Cropic (the "Application") processes and protects your information.

By using the Application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.

1. Data Storage Architecture

The Application does not use its own backend servers to store user-created screenshot projects or edited images.

Local Processing: Screenshots, selected images, edits, text overlays, crop settings, pixelation, frames, backgrounds, and exported images are processed on your device.
Photo Library: The Application uses Apple photo picker and photo saving APIs to let you select screenshots/images and save edited results.
Local Preferences: Some app settings, onboarding status, and editing preferences may be stored locally on your device.

Important: We do not have technical access to your screenshots, edited images, or exported files unless you intentionally send them to us, for example by email or support request.

2. Data We Collect and Process

2.1 User Content

User content may include:

Screenshots and images selected by you
Edited compositions
Text added to screenshots
Crop, frame, background, stitching, drawing, and pixelation edits
Exported images saved to your device

User content is processed locally to provide Application functionality. We do not upload your screenshots or edited images to our own servers.

2.2 Photo Library Access

The Application may request access to selected photos or permission to save edited images to your photo library.

The Application uses Apple’s photo picker so you can choose specific images.
The Application may save exported images to your photo library when you request it.
We do not receive or store your photo library content.

2.3 Subscription Data (RevenueCat)

Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store.

We do not access your payment card, banking, or billing details.

We use RevenueCat to manage subscription and purchase status. RevenueCat may process limited purchase-related metadata, such as:

Anonymous app user identifiers
Product identifiers
Entitlement status
Purchase, renewal, cancellation, and expiration status
Transaction identifiers and related subscription metadata

2.4 Wallpapers and Remote Assets

The Application may allow you to use remote wallpapers or device frame assets.

If you search for or load wallpapers from Unsplash, your search query and related request data may be processed by Unsplash.
Device frame assets or metadata may be downloaded from public asset hosting services, such as GitHub raw content.
These services do not receive your edited screenshots from us.

2.5 Support and Feedback

If you contact us by email or through a feedback link, we may process your email address and the content of your message in order to respond to you.

3. No Account Registration

The Application does not require you to create an account. We do not operate a user registration system.

Subscription access is managed through Apple App Store purchases and RevenueCat entitlement status.

4. Third-Party Services

The Application may rely on the following third-party services:

RevenueCat — subscription and entitlement management
Unsplash — wallpaper search and image loading, if used

Third-party services process data according to their own privacy policies and terms. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

5. International Data Transfers

When using subscription services, remote wallpapers, support email, or other third-party services, some data may be processed outside your country of residence, including in the United States or other jurisdictions.

Where applicable, we rely on contractual safeguards implemented by our service providers.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have privacy rights including:

Access to personal data
Correction of inaccurate data
Deletion of personal data
Restriction of processing
Data portability
Withdrawal of consent where applicable

Since screenshot content and edited images are stored locally, you can delete them directly from your device or photo library.

7. Data Retention

8. Security

Local processing of screenshot content where possible

TLS/SSL encryption for network requests to third-party services

No electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure. You are responsible for securing your device, Apple ID, and photo library access.

9. Children

The Application is not intended for individuals under 16 years old, or the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is available within the Application or on our website. Continued use of the Application after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
